Nitrome Game Music

This post contains a list of links to download and/or stream Nitrome music directly from the composers.

Nitrome has expressed that they do not permit people to make or sell collections, however, some Nitrome music is still available to stream and/or download from the website or account of the composer who created them. Since a single mass download link cannot be provided, the next best alternative is a compilation of official download links to the tracks. I hope you’ll be able to find the Nitrome game music you’re looking for in some capacity.

Lee Nicklen

Lee Nicklen has uploaded remasters of his Nitrome tracks on SoundCloud and his official site, Kayotix, both of which can usually be downloaded.

If you download an in-game track directly from its game page on the Kayotix website, it will most likely come with interruptions. Some games may also have extra versions, and these are usually not interrupted (though there are a few exceptions).

That being said, the Kayotix site does host some versions of in-game Nitrome tracks that are uninterrupted. These are shared on the NitromeMusic Facebook page and can also be accessed via the Kayotix web page index.

If a track cannot be found on Kayotix, it will most likely exist on SoundCloud.

Note that many of the tracks are inconsistently named (particularly extras) across different platforms. The Kayotix naming conventions will be used over SoundCloud’s whenever possible.

Striked out text indicates that all known versions of the track are either non-existent, interrupted or have other major issues, eg. abruptly cut out sections in a Kayotix version of Final Ninja Extra 5.

A number next to a site’s link, eg. Kayotix2, indicates an alternative download link to the same track. “Alternate” as a subpoint under a specific track means that the downloads next to it are for alternative versions of the track. These tracks typically consist of the same composition, but may have additional sections or different instruments / arrangements.

The two tracks credited to Shockwave-Sound.com can be downloaded as MIDIs from the founder’s website (archived).
